On-Demand Driver
Use your own car/truck/van to perform various pickups and deliveries throughout the SF Bay Area. Full time position need a valid DL, clean MVR (no DIU, reckless driving, less than 3 points), current vehicle insurance and a working vehicle. You will get paid by delivery, more deliveries mean more money. Current drivers are averaging $18-$25 per hour. Guaranteed minimum is $15.00 per hour and 30 cents per mile. You should have a good working knowledge of the SF Bay Area and be able to use a smartphone and navigation app/device. Available shifts are 8 hours that for the most part fall somewhere between M-F 7AM to 6PM.
Pay is performance based the more you deliver the more you make and includes reimbursement for the use of your vehicle.
Bicycle Messenger
Use your own bicycle to deliver small packages to homes and businesses in San Francisco. You should have a good working knowledge of San Francisco and be able to use a smartphone and necessary apps. Available shifts are 8 hours that for the most part fall somewhere within M-F 7AM to 6PM.
Experience strongly preferred, not limited to courier work but any company that uses bikes to deliver (flowers, Post-friends, cured fish eggs, etc.)
Pay is performance based the more you deliver the more you make and includes reimbursement for the use of your equipment. Average is around $18-24 per hour. Minimum is $15.00 per hour plus expense reimbursement.
Dispatcher
Dispatchers not only route and assign deliveries, they are also responsible for managing their crew, including hiring, firing, and disciplinary actions. We break our dispatchers into “boards” each dispatcher being responsible for a specific area and/or type of messengers or deliveries.
Strong typing and computer skills are required. Dispatchers work in a Windows environment using an industry-specific software suite developed by CXT Software. Most of the communications with couriers, and some customers is VIA chat so quick and accurate typing is a must.
Candidates must be excellent leaders, managing couriers can be very trying at times. Problem solving skills are essential. Much of what dispatchers do is solving the puzzle of how to get a package delivered despite seemingly insurmountable obstacles.
Customer Service Representative
Looking for outgoing energetic problem-solver to handle phone calls and related customer requests. You will be the focus of customer requests and will be called upon to handle multiple service requests quickly and efficiently. Excellent phone skills and good multi-tasking ability are preferred.
Main duties include:
- Answering customer phone calls and booking orders
- Communicating with dispatchers to resolve delivery issues
- Light filing, copying, data entry
- Using multiple computer systems to enter and process delivery orders
- Calming stressed/harried/impatient customers looking for their stuff
